Our Brewery

At Los Dos Potrillos Cervecería, we focus on putting passion into our beer. With an emphasis on clean and refreshing Mexican-Style lagers, we are committed to innovation with a culinary twist. All of our recipes are carefully crafted to pair with authentic Mexican dishes featured at our restaurants. As with our food, we brew our beer to showcase seasonal ingredients and limited releases. From our ownership to our brewing staff, our passion for creating and taking unconventional paths set us apart.

Meet Our Staff

Our Director of Brewing Operations, Chris Gilmore, is a native of Baltimore, MD. He came to Colorado with a career in craft beer in mind. Armed with years of experience from award-winning breweries in the Denver Area, Chris is well-versed in all brewery aspects from packaging to recipe creation and general operations. He has always focused on executing technically sound, traditional styles. Los Dos Potrillos Cervecería affords the brewers an opportunity to maintain their love of lagers while still pushing the envelope using innovative and cutting-edge brewing techniques.

CHRIS GILMORE

Our Director of Brewing Operations, Chris Gilmore, is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. He came to Colorado with a career in craft beer in mind. Ben, Lead Brewer at our Castle Rock location, is a Colorado native and grew up on the front range on a farm near Longmont. He graduated from CU Boulder, and is currently studying brewery operations management at MSU Denver. He’s always had a deep interest in beer, and particularly the history of the beverage.

Ben Reynolds

Starting as a cellerman, Kevin is now the Lead Brewer at our Parker location. Beginning his brewery path right here at LDP Beer, he traded in his construction tools for a spot at our brewhouse. He finds that the process of brewing and the work environment it brings with it is rewarding.

Kevin Marquez

Josh, our Distribution Specialist, hails from Florida and Texas. After serving 10 years in the US Navy, he had enough of the ocean and decided to become a Colorado transplant in 2016. He enjoys summers here hiking, running, and generally being outdoors, but has been known to aid in the liberation of the galaxy from a terrible bug invasion of the outer rim territories on his PS5. Crispy boys are his favorite style of beer, and he enjoys crushing them on cool summer nights gathered around a fire with good friends.
